Pamper Your Skin Professionally in the Comfort of Your Home

How much would you enjoy treating yourself to a facial at the spa but, like me, can’t quite fit it into your budget?  Or how about owning one of those super-expensive facial cleaning and exfoliation systems, you know the ones I mean, the ones that cost upwards of $150? Well, if you are anything like me, something like that would be a rare treat!  Until now, that is!  I recently discovered that ToiletTree products has created a much more affordable version of this product, the Professional Skincare System!

This great beauty tool has everything I need to give my face, and body, a true spa-like cleansing, right in the comfort of my own home.   The Skin Care System is gentle enough to use daily, yet thoroughly exfoliates impurities which traditional cleansing tends to leave behind, and polishes away dull skin leaving my skin cleaner, softer and more radiant looking from my head to the tips of my toes!

According to the product details, other benefits of the system are that it stimulates skin renewal, improves overall clarity and appearance, and removes dead skin cells to reveal fresh, healthy skin. It also cleans deep to help remove stubborn make up and other impurities while energizing the skin and leaving it soft, smooth and radiant.  Plus it helps enhance the absorption of moisturizers.

This light weight, hand held beauty tool uses spinning brushes to thoroughly cleanse and exfoliate your skin.  The system comes complete with 2 facial exfoliators (one for sensitive skin, one for normal skin types), 1 body exfoliator and 1 pumice sphere.   It runs on four AA batteries, which are also included, (hooray)!   It is waterproof so you can use it while in the tub or shower, or while standing at the sink.  Exchanging the heads are easy, you simply pull one off and put another on.  Then switch it on and gently move the spinning brush in a circular motion over your face or body.  There is also a pumice stone attachment for use on your feet so they too can be soft and smooth.

I use the system nightly when I wash my face, and I love how easy it is to use and to clean up!  I just add a small amount of cleanser to one of the smaller brushes, then turn it on and clean my entire face.  Once finished, I rinse my face then gently pat it dry.  Finally I add my moisturizer, and my skin is left extremely clean and feeling as soft as silk.  After use, I thoroughly rinse the brushes and let them air dry, and I use a towel to dry the handle.

The largest brush is for use on your body.  If you use a bar soap, be prepared to re-soap the brush quite a few times!  I did find that using a shower gel called for less re-soaping, but whichever type of soap you use, be prepared to add more.   It does a wonderful job of cleansing and exfoliating your skin, plus it makes reaching your back a cinch! Using the body brush is quite invigorating, and it leaves you feeling very clean and your skin feeling very soft.   I found it works really well on those dry, rough patches of skin I get on my elbows and other parts of my body especially during these cold, dry winter months.  It easily sloughs off the dead, dry flaky skin, leaving my skin ready to absorb moisturizer which I only have to apply once, no more having to apply it over and over to get soft, moisturized feeling skin!

I absolutely love the included pumice stone attachment!  It works perfectly on my feet, especially on my heels and the sides of my big toe where these annoying rough spots often form.  I found it works best if you soak your feet in warm water for a few minutes before you begin.  Once finished, cover your feet in your favorite lotion or body butter, let it absorb and your feet will be as soft as a baby’s!

I have been using this for close to three weeks now, and my skin looks great and feels amazingly soft!  I have always had issues with tiny whiteheads on my chin, and I have noticed a vast improvement since I began using this system!  The red patches on the sides of my nose are disappearing, and the overall appearance of my skin is healthy and radiant!  The batteries are still going strong, so you don’t have to worry about it quickly draining batteries leaving you with the high cist of replacing them often.  It would be nice if they came up with a rechargeable unit, though!
